Girasol Quartz, also known as moon quartz for its cloudiness, is quartz that has been clouded by water. The name Girasol comes from the Italian word girasole meaning “to turn towards the Sun”. Giros is a special little gem and is fast turning into one of my favorite minerals to work with, for its calming mystical sheen and beauty.
